For your leisure activities on-site : a swimming complex, comprising swimming pool, paddling pool with sun-loungers, supervised river bathing, Children's play area, mini-golf, outside fitness equipment, boules ground with lighting, table tennis and proper tennis, a multi-sports area : volleyball, football. Activities for teenagers
Canoe excursions with a choice of distance : 6, 12 or 20 kilometres. Free iniitiation course twice a week. Children's Club for the 5 to 12 year olds (July and August)
For your leisure activities near-by : 'Leisure Park 'La Saule', just 2 minutes away from the campsite. Rock-climbing, potholing, numerous hiking trails, and very well recommended fishing courses.
The area of Quercy-Périgord boasts many rich heritage sites worth a visit. The castles at Castelnau, Bretenoux and Montal are well worth a visit. Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne is a medieaval city and it is also known as the Riviera of the Limousin, due to its warm climate and Mediterranean type vegetation. While visiting the rich heritage of the area, you might like to discover new gastronomic delights and the many local markets. An easy drive away are the medieval villages of Collonges-la-Rouge, Turenne, Curemonte, Loubresac and Martel. A bit further away, you have Souillac, which is the gateway to the winegrowing area, further south, of which Cahors is the capital.
Take the A20 > exit 54 then the D840 direction Martel/Rocamadour, then the D43 to Carennac. cross the bridge, where it is signposted Carennac, and turn left at the bridge or if you are coming from the direction of Clermont Ferrand, you take the A89 then the A20 exit and follow the instructions as above
